Sticking with the cinematic world, I looked towards films that played with the idea of breaking the laws of physics, thus altering the state of reality we currently know it.
Films include:
> Interstellar (2014, Christopher Nolan)
> 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968, Stanley Kubrick)
> Inception (2010, Christopher Nolan)
These films depict realistic scenarios with a twist, messing with gravity, time, dimensions and the fabric of spacetime. Many of these concepts are researched within science, however all are not (yet) possible. That being said, many of them, bar that of Inception, feature scientifically-accurate situations and environments that scientists and physicists believe to be possible.
